I let Sherb go partially because I like to island hunt to meet villagers, as inefficient as it may be and partially because I found Bones and like him better. I let Sherb move and someone offered me 100 NMT for him. He moved out but I missed him. Luckily I found him on a mystery island again and moved him back in. I don’t know if he will stay forever but I’m happy fate brought us back. Have you ever had regret letting a villager go? Who was it? Did you ever get them back again?

In NL I let Kid Cat move out and instantly regretted it. I love him so much. He became my favorite jock villager. I never actually got him back because of the 15 villager cycle thing. It's horrible. I'm being really careful in NH now. haha.

I would say Raymond. I had too many smugs and for some reason he didn't click with me so I gave him to a friend. I missed him and eventually thought about island hopping for him but I came across a very good auction/deal on Nook's Cranny and have him back! Now I know what I'm getting into with him on my island and the 2nd time is much better :)

I miss Rudy lol
he asked to move and I already had too many jocks on my island, so i let him go. sometimes i consider letting him move back in, but i like all my current residents too much =n=

I only regret kicking Lucky out without selling him to someone first
Lol that’s me. I’m not a fan

I actually didn’t like Raymond either because at first he talked a lot about being in movies and was obnoxious. He is alright now though.

The MOMENT I let Static move out in NL (I didn't want too many crankies) I felt the regret overfill me. To this day it is the worst decision I've ever made in any of my animal crossing games. I miss my lil baby boy

rip

The flashiness of smugs really rubbed me the wrong way and it's only now, 2 months later that I'm alright with them (or rather used to it). I think the big reason was because I have Julian as well and in my mind, he really fits the smug personality. Then I could start really loving Marshal again and liking Raymond again.

I don't have the same obsession for Raymond as others but yeah, he's alright for sure

I think for me it is because Marshal has been sitting in my New Leaf town for a few years now and I grown to knew him as sensitive and caring. I didn’t get that from Raymond. But now Insee Raymond our more enjoying nature and being sensitive in dialogue too.

Static is a wonderful cranky. If I didn’t love Murphy so much from new leaf I’d bring Static in.

I regret kicking out Harry. He's not my favourite cranky villager by any means, but he grew on me.. and once I kicked him out I realized my sister said to me a couple of weeks ago she really would like to have him, and no I feel guilty. So one day I will help her get Harry in her island, which will be sooner than later since I will either get an Amiibo for him or fake one :p

Luckily not yet. The prospect of island hopping/searching for a new villager does always seem fun, but if I have any doubts about letting a villager go at all I hang onto them. Even if I’m planning to let them go eventually, it might just be that I need more time with them before I’m ready to let them go.

I found Wolfgang randomly and moved him in just cause he was popular and wanted to trade him for Kyle... but the second he moved out I regretted it and had to go find him again lol.

It's funny how I get attached to villagers that weren't on my dreamies list, then some that I thought I really wanted I ended up giving away (Bob, Raymond and Sherb)

I kinda regret back then to let Kid Cat go, as I found shortly after he moved out Agent S on a Mystery Island. One of my old plans was to get all superhero villagers, but when Kid Cat announced that he wanted to go, I decided to let him go and get other villagers instead.

i let Chief go and my friend ended up getting him as a random move-in and she ended up really loving him because of how much he sings. i regret not cherishing him more and taking the time to get to know him. i regret letting Sydney and Boomer go. i didn't plan for either of them on my dream list, but when i got them both randomly, i loved both of them. Sydney was so sweet and looked great in every clothing i gifted her and Boomer was my first lazy villager, so now when Beau says anything, it just reminds me of Boomer

Wow its so nice that in this game they are able to come back to you! I haven't regretted letting anyone go in New Horizons, but in New Leaf I had Nana the normal monkey in my town, and I hated where her house was and thought I wanted her to move because of it, but the day she was in boxes I was so sad!!! I think I cried ngl because she was the first villager to ever move out of my town. I immediately looked up ways to get her back, but in New Leaf you had to cycle through 16 villagers to get someone to move in again, but then they wouldn't even remember you. I was so sad lmao

Let Cherry go and I miss her alot, unfortunately she was one of my first 5 villagers and she had the ugly DIY furniture so it really left me heartbroken to see her go but im hoping I can find her again!
