Inside Furniture Outside

I have an outdoor cafe, but it actually uses outdoor tables/chairs. I'm using the iron garden chairs/tables for it.

I've definitely seen what I consider indoor things outdoors in real life. Especially in Japan when I lived there. It made me cringe whenever I saw arcade machines outside some mom and pop candy shop (many of these were so sad looking being sunfaded and rusty in spots) and a few of my neighbors in my neighborhood had their washing machine outside of their house. They generally had it in a covered area, like a carport type thing or on a side patio, but it was weird.

I don't care if other people do it, but I don't do it myself.

Absolutely. I wish people would use the lending library object instead of bookshelves for their outdoor libraries... they’re built like that for a reason!

I wish there were a way to create covered but open buildings, like existed in ancient Greece.

I don't really mind, though I do agree that some items like a bath or bed would be weird outside,
but if I imagine for example a couch in an outside café setting it isn't weird to me anymore

I do have to say, when it rains everything looks a bit sad and kinda out of place
but I really love my outside diner, I used panels and clifs to make it more into a room and I think it looks really nice!
I also have a little reading spot with books outside now and at first I thought 'shouldn't this be inside?' but it just really works

Hmm I would say I feel completely opposite. I love having an outdoor library nestled in trees and outdoor cafes and bars, so it doesn't bother me at all. That being said, sometimes having electronics or expensive items like instruments, screens and elaborate kimono stands in the rain ruin it for me
