Informative Statue: Real vs Fake?

Redd is visiting and he has the Informative statue.

The guide I read stated that the fake one is blue and the real one is black.

In my game, the statue is blatantly gray.

I do not have this statue in my museum as of yet.

Any help is appreciated!

Yeah it’s not totally black. As long as it’s not a shade of blue it should be the real one.

i think the fake one should also look like it’s glowing a bit since it’s dark inside Redd’s boat.
