Incompletable initiaives

Been playing the update since it was released, and have a few gripes about some daily initiatives I can't complete. Just venting...

One initiative to donate a fish to the museum. But my fish museum is 100%...

Another to fish up some trash, but I have the clean town ordinance, so there's no trash...

Purchase 100 turnips, but I swear the turnip lady never showed up. I waited all day, and checked the entire town several times thru the day. I usually don't buy turnips, and I run into her non-stop. Now, I couldn't find her for the life of me...

ahh yes those are annoying but i just ignore them, and since i time travel it doesnt really bother me too much

I know I hate the one asking me for fossils, I completed my musesum ages ago. Also hate having to change my exterior, took me ages to find the kiddie one and now I changed it. Should have ignored that one really, was just a bit desperate for coupons

Yikes. I haven't seen the others, but I have also gotten the trash one even though I have the clean town ordinance, as well. Are you sure you didn't check for Joan too late, though? She's only in town until 12 PM.

Hopefully they'll make another update to fix the initiatives... I mean, it's easy enough to get coupons otherwise, especially if you have amiibo cards, but it's still a bit annoying (plus, I like collecting the stamps for the initiatives).

don't forget there's a lot of people who have probably picked up AC for the first time with this update and it's motivation for them. Also for anyone who gets it for Christmas. It's not just for us who've been playing the game for years.

What about ones where you have to enter a Streetpassed house? I live in an area where there are barely ANY Streetpasses happening, as well as barely any New Leaf players. (Heck, I was quite surprised that a lot of people showed up during Pokemon X and Y's launch release.) You live in the middle of the sticks and you get that one, you're more or less SOL.

For that challenged I didn't want to change anything but tried the pavement/floor for an exterior. It worked. That item is easy to replace.

And playing 3 games of Desert Island Escape or Puzzle League? Simple! Just go to the title screen, and exit for 3 times. Easiest MEOW get.
