One thing I really hate is when I encounter a person on Club Tortimer who isn't talking or moving. These people just don't move or talk at all. Something makes me think that they just sat their 3ds in the room and do nothing.

Sometimes when I see a person who is inactive for too long, I just leave automatically.

Have you experienced this before?

I have left my DS at times while on club tortimer. Not for too long but sometimes real life calls. Someones phone could ring in the other room, I personally have had to go outside and check on my pets (foxes like to eat chickens unfortunately) and a bunch of other reasons. No one is '********' for doing so and you should not be using that word. -.-

Why do you even care??? :p

Because, no one should be inactive for so long unless they fell asleep or something. Not even going to the bathroom takes that long.

I was not saying they were. Actually, I turned around and said that they must be brain dead or something. However, I got a warning and a mod changed the post altogether so it doesn't matter now anyway.

Eh, rather be stuck with somebody that's not talking and moving on the island, rather than one that holds you hostage on the island by hogging Leilani when they lay their DS down. If they just disappear, you can always go on a tour to ditch them for somebody more talkative.

This.

True! People don't always play when they're at Club Tortimer. Like Lyla said, maybe there's a phone call in the room and they have to leave. It's not like Club Tortimer is only meant for moving and talking...it's where people meet other people from around the world. It's not like you're supposed to talk. Some people don't like talking with other people they don't know.

Like its been mentioned before, sometimes real life happens. Perhaps they have kids and their kids needed them for something, or they got a phone call, or something else happened.

I understand it might be a bit of an annoyance, but its not very nice to judge people so quickly.

For some reason I get really incredibly shy on Club Tortimer, I don't feel comfortable talking unless there's a conversation going on already and I can jump into it. Iunno that's just me. o_o

I don't go to Club Tortimer to play with other people- I go for the Tortimer exclusives at the gift shop. There are reasons to go to Club Tortimer that have little or nothing to do with wanting to mingle.

If someone is there when I arrive, I am courteous, and I say hello. Sometimes I will go on a tour or two, if they seem friendly. I've met a couple of very nice Japanese players through CT in this way. But for the most part, I go to Club Tortimer to shop. :D

Hahaha this! An inactive person is one who does not go around chopping down all the trees and chasing off all the bugs and fish. I would much rather deal with someone like that, then most of the people I see on there that do what I just said. Which is why I barely ever play on CT anyways unless I'm incredibly bored and none of my friends are on to go to the island with.

I recently just started going to Club Tortimer, and most of my conversations were awkward and choppy because AC's chatting isn't that great for me. I'm long winded, so if you don't pay attention you'll miss something I'm saying probably.

I just go to shop now, too.

It's their game, they can do whatever they want. People actually have real life things to do than game all day. What if they were calculating how much medals they need for a certain price, or seeing how often a pink wetsuit appears?

I also only go to CT just to shop so inactive/minding their own business people are fine with me, even better if no one is there.
Plus you can always just hop to a different island with more chatty people if it bothers you that much.

No, I only have a problem with users who don't move or talk at all. I can careless if they will talk to me if they are at least moving.

Anyway, that's exactly what I do, just leave them.

Why do you have a problem with users who don't do anything? Just act like they aren't there o.o

I do way worse. If I'm looking for rare items I just pop on a CT isle and then immediately leave. I'm sure I've annoyed many a personage.
