I'm a a little frustrated that my town hasn't reached perfect status yet.

I have no litter at all, I have flowers up the wazoo, and my town has more trees than does any other town I've ever seen. It's a forest and it's beautiful.

When I ask Isabelle about villager satisfaction, she consistently squawks that I should build more public works projects. I already have 16 - the only "bad" ones I have being the picnic blanket and the garbage can. There are a couple more projects I want to build, but none of them have been requested yet. I'm sick of building projects I don't want just to try to raise my score. Regardless, shouldn't 14 "good" projects be enough?

I've considered that I might have too many trees, but shouldn't Isabelle tell me so? She hasn't said a thing, so I'm not convinced.

I'm really at a loss as to what I'm doing wrong.

She had never told I had too many tree's when I had a similar problem, I just decided to get rid of some trees, and that improved the rating. Either cut down some tree's, or build some more PWP's.

It's my understanding that you need a balance of public works projects. For example, you need at least three "big" ones, three "medium" ones and three "little ones." So the police station, cafe, fence, lighthouse, etc. would be considered big, the benches would be medium and streetlights and etc. would be small. I don't think you can only use one type (only streetlights for example) and get a perfect town rating. Is your town balanced with PWPs?

I'm not sure if there's any truth in this at all, but it's what I heard and it seemed to work for me, lol. Sorry if it's completely wrong :')

I think your town needs to have an balanced amount of greenery (trees, shrubs...) and PWPs. And I believe that some PWPs may contribute towards the greenery/nature?

Like you said, the trees are probably what's wrong. And no, Isabelle won't tell you. I had the same problem, and after cutting down a few, I reached perfect town status again.

Unless you want Jacob's Ladders or the golden watering can, there's no real reason to reach perfect status. I was perfectly fine without it for a few months, but I needed some JLs for a park I'm working on. If you think your town looks awesome the way it is, then just leave it, or get what you want and rebuild it again. Forest towns are awesome.

Gurl please. I started my game on AUGUST 4TH and I still don't have perfect town status
