One, it was never written to be intended for a pop diva to 30 or 40 years later make a terrible remake. I don't even think those are the lyrics.

They're not, she changed the lyrics to be about Gay rights and someone who was killed for being gay who was called Matthew, that's why she talks about Equality and Matthew in the sky.

Lady GaGa also isn't a Pop diva, you're rating it on the singer now which isn't fair, I asked for you not to. She sings a lot of pop songs yes, but if you actually listened to all her songs, or even just a few you'd realise how stupid you sound saying that to someone who knows all her songs.
