One of the most stressful and upsetting days in my life was yesterday. I was at Six Flags: Great Adventure with two of my friends. One of my friends I never went to Great Adventure with and she didn't shut up, she chose our rides and she wouldn't go on anything that went upside down. To start off we had to wait 20 minutes when we got to the front of the line to a lame ride called Rolling Thunder because a part of the train wasn't working. After that we went on El Toro which is a pretty sweet ride. I was enjoying myself until 20 minutes later I realized I left my season pass, which cost around $100.00 to get in the park for this Summer, on the ride. I was upset. We go on a few more rides to shut my one friend up. At the end of the day we go on this very high ride, Nitro. Of course on the 3rd drop my phone goes flying out of my pocket to some condemned area with trees and brush.

...Get to know what your friends are like (ride like) before taking them to an amusement park. (I have some friends I would never take to Six flags or such) Why would you want to go on a ride that just broke down...?! How did you leave your ticket on the ride?
Well it's kinda your own fault for having it in your pocket. I'm amusing they were baggy? Was there a girl with her purse with you?

You used a possessive pronoun instead of a pronoun-verb contraction.

Huuuurrrrr

But yeah that blows.

That sucks your phone fell out your pocket... Aren't you supposed to empty your pockets before you go on the ride?

Yeah I know the feeling. Life sucks and sometimes it can be a *censored.4.0* but things will get better even on the worst of things. I once forgot this and things didn't go over well.

@SSgt. Garrett- yes she said that we wouldn't go on any upside down rides previously. She wanted to go on kinda lame rides like Houdini Mansion and wanted to go on water rides. We never knew about Rolling Thunder breaking, it was an old ride of course but when we were in front of the line a train broke down. I'm guessing when I sat up or while going down a drop my pass slipped out. My other friend had his stuff in his pocket and he was fine. And no the other girl did not bring her purse. Yes, my pants were 2 sizes above mine but not baggy.

@Jrrj15- You could bring a back pack or gym bag type thing to put your stuff in otherwise you would have to rent a locker while you go on the rides.

@everyone else- yeah and thanks, it sucked pretty badly. On the bright side I have an old phone that I can activate and use until I get another one.

common sense > u

that's just what I'm thinking. *censored.2.0*ty day was *censored.2.0*ty, sorry bout that, though it all could've been avoided very easily, obviously.

Yes, I should have taped my pass to my forehead and put a leash on my phone.

I'm just throwing out ideas you would probably mention based on your last post. No one had brought a bag to put our stuff in. I forgot to mention it was around 95 degrees in New Jersey at the time so no way were any of us wearing skinny jeans. You weren't there and have little information about the situation, obviously.

Well, when life gives you lemons... YOU GIVE LEMONS LIFE! (ahh Cyanide and happiness <3)

I always bring a type of stable* bag with me to outings for things like tickets and phone and I'm the type who won't go on up side down rides so I'm pretty much safe from most things

*Not carrier bags and etc :/

At least you got to go to an amusement park. That does suck, but you have no one else to blame but yourself for losing your season pass and your phone.

Blame Firefox for not underlining it with a red squiggly line.

That's why you can't rely on spell check for everything. While it is certainly useful for typos, it's no replacement for intelligence. It's not Firefox's fault that you typed "your" instead of "you're", it's yours.

Yes, there is only me to blame for the loss. The funny thing is I went on two upside down rides before I lost anything ( I check after each ride ). To make the story better ,for those who care, when my phone flew away my friend and this other person I didn't know started to laugh. I want to try to get this on FML XD

Oh, I'm so sorry. :smiledisapointed: I hope a wonderful day comes to you very soon. And remember, "Bad times are just times that are bad." Katrina from City Folk told me that quote. :smilecheerful:

what you just said isn't true, since you obviously didn't check before you got off the ride with your season pass :/

this guy seems to be enjoying having a sticky note on his head, but I'm pretty sure it would fall off if he was on a roller coaster ride, if he used common sense. which he clearly seems to have. (very bright chap, that)

probably should have put your stuff in your back pocket (phone), or wallet (season pass), or rented one of those lockers that was mentioned in a previous post.

jeez. I showed some sympathy for you at least, even though it was clearly your fault that the day was *censored.2.0*ty, since everything could have been easily avoided if you thought ahead.

BUT LOLINTERBUTTZ.
