And where their dupe diys go... ;-; I know they're just selling them at nooks or trashing them, then I think about all the ones I'm looking for and T___T oof
I could trade online but honestly if my wife or close friends don't need things I just sell them. Trading is very... much right now and I just don't have the energy for it.
I just sell them to the store to get rid of them. Unless I know it's something that people want/seek pretty regularly. One thing I always wonder is how many people out there have those highly sought after villagers that they get rid of and let go to the void, not knowing someone out there would give them 1 billion bells or 2000 NMT. Lol.
I did a lot of trading in New Leaf, and it's tiring. And it seems even more exhausting in this game. I still can't stop myself from hoarding things though, even though I have no intention of trading or selling.
my free trial of NO expired and I don't really like online trading anyways lol so all my dupe DIYS i just throw away. most of the ones I get are the ones u get in the beginning so I don't think anyone is missing any by me throwing them away. maybe i'll start saving them tho...
Husband and I trade dupes amongst each other, and if we both have something, we sell it. We plan to get an online account eventually, but don't know when we'll bother doing it. Since you can't put these things in storage, not worth having them sit around.
I used to trade online, but I try to limit that now. I ruined the experience in my first file when I traded to get all the diys and furniture that I could ever wish for, so after resetting, I'm making myself be patient and unlock things for myself. The only thing I've traded to recieve is the fruits and flowers that I didn't have. Besides that, I'm happy to give away things to people, such as extra diys. So far I've only had 2 duplicates, though: the leaf umbrella, and the bird house. And I honestly just sold those because I think everyone gets those as default anyways.
I don't really do trading. I am a collector, and for most things... that just makes this game too easy to get everything in. Plus, I don't have the surplus of bells everyone else seems to. I take it slow. I sell turnips, yeah, but I don't make 2 million a week.
I do interact with people online though. Depending on how valuable I deem a DIY, I either sell it, drop it in my free market area (a place by my airport with free items for visitors that I do my best to keep stocked with interesting stuff), or I store it on the floor in my house so I can put it there later.
I don't play with random people online. I have a small group of friends that I play with and if nobody needs any dupes I get then they go bye bye. I suppose if someone on here asked me personally I wouldn't mind setting that up but I don't really talk 1-on-1 with anyone for that opportunity to arise.
I do have an online subscription so I've been trading my extras 1:1 through Nook's Cranny here for whatever I don't have. I find it pretty easy to coordinate since I've been trading since New Leaf, but it does take extra time to organize and sift through threads to find a good match.
I play online a fair amount, but only with people I am actually friends. I might get into online trading again but will be pretty selective about who I do that with. That and I am gonna wait for the whole "I demand 5 NMTs for these flower seeds I bought at Nooks" crowd to get bored and clear out before wading into the fray.
I don't have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription and I don't plan on getting one until we are 1000% sure that the void/move in glitches are all fixed. I've sold my fair share of DIYs. I'd keep them for others if we could store them, but I don't want them cluttering up the place so, I've got to sell them.
I try to get everything on my own. It’s more challenging and fun that way. I don’t trade villagers either because I don’t like them with memories so...
