Unless you gave Bubbles to someone and then get her back from that same person, she will not remember you.

This is the way I see it, too. It’s a shame they don’t remember but it can become a new goal to build that friendship again.

Aww I didnt trade bubbles to a person I traded her wasnt really what happened I accidentally gave her up to get cookie but I like bubbles better

Even if you were super best friends and she left, under zero circumstances that don't involve multiplayer she will recall you

Why don't you go through the villager list? Bubbles is gone now but that doesn't mean you can't get a different villager you'll love more

Also, building villager relationships in this game isn't too difficult! If you're able to get Bubbles back, you can have a high relationship with her in a week or two by talking to her often and giving her gifts (particularly wrapped ones!)
