Im stuck at a four star island

If you talk to Isabelle, the island eval should help tell you if there's too few/too many of things like trees, flowers, etc.

Sometimes it's something having a negative impact, like 'clutter'. If you have dropped items, materials, tickets, lying around, that can bring down your score.

I think weeds don't matter unless you just have way too many of them. Do you have all of the island shops built? 10 villagers?

If you have all of that, maybe the arrangement of the outdoor furniture? I had small furniture additions spread out on the island instead of in just a few spots.

If Isabelle says anything about development, make sure you have nooks upgraded and all the shops. After that maybe add a bridge or incline of still not 5 stars.

Thank you this help alot!

My island recently went from 4 to 5 stars. What I was doing around the time that I think caused the change was making more open pathways that villlagers can walk thru, cutting down more trees, adding more inclines and outdoors decorations. Also having a farm with a lot of veggies helps. I decorate with some weeds and have way too many flowers so I don't think that impacts it too much.
