I'm so embarrassed...I have a rafflesia...how do I get rid of it? ;_;

So...I may or may not have a ton of saplings/bush starts and furniture all over the top of my town. I also went a little axe happy and I only have some trees and a lot of flowers. I discovered today that my town has a rafflesia. I AM MORTIFIED.

So my question is...how do I get rid of this thing?! I am assuming I need to clean-up all of the junk, plant some more trees...but how long will it last?

UGH I am so embarrassed...I've only had this town for 2 weeks!!! I brought over everything from my last town and I just didn't have a place to put it...

That's how it worked in CF. In NL all you need to do is just plant a PWP over it and that should destroy it. I don't know whether or not it will come back later or if it will immediately relocate, but the rafflesia is considered a plant when factored into PWP spacing and not a building.

Thank you for the advice! ^^ Unfortunately, it decided to "bloom" right next to the river...I don't think you can place any PWPs right on the riverbank...?

I had one of these gorgeous flowers pop up in my old cycling town. I tried putting a PWP over it to snuff it out, but it came back the very next day in a different location. I got rid of it by planting a few more trees... 12 if I recall. Try to make sure you have a bare minimum of 110 trees and it should disappear, and if that fails you could always take on the arduous task of cleaning up all of the "junk" around your town. Hopefully this helps, and good luck getting rid of your meat flower.

Hahaha, OMG meat flower!!! It does look like that...it's so gross ;_; thank you! I was planning on cleaning-up once I got the second floor of the museum and storing extra items there, but looks like I'm cleaning-up now! Aaand I could plant more trees ^^

2. You just answered your own question on how to fix it.
3. Probably somewhere between a few days to a week.
4. Why are you embarrassed? Since your town is still new, I assume you don't have the Dream Suite yet.

A few days to a week is not bad...! I'm embarrassed because I thought rafflesia were only reserved for the really awful towns :'(

I was helping a friend reset and she put 37M in bell sacks in my town, no wonders: rafflesia shows up the next day haha

I put a new resident house over it (plot resetting), and it didn't come back... I kinda regretted it because I didn't catch a fly while I could sigh

Oh well that makse sense. But your town is still pretty new so I wouldn't expect it to look nice.

I definitely will ^^; I just didn't have room for all my stuff but I've learned my lesson!
