I'm so annoyed

I've been waiting on the beach with empty pockets and no money, hoping someone would ping me about PWPs, anddddd all they ever ping me for is if they want a new catchphrase, want to give me something, or want to know what to add to their meal -___- I've been doing this everyday for a week, and it's getting really annoying. Any way to make them request PWPs and NOT meal advice or personality quizes? And anyone else having this problem?

My advice would be to carry 16 flowers and no money so villagers can't give/sell you anything. Catchphrase requests may still happen but way less often. It's a real pain to get PWPs but as long as you have all flowers, you'll raise the chances much more. Good luck!

Same here, I walk around with flowers and they want anything but that, I have very little PWP left and only two villagers can ask them so it's maybe why... In the past it was easier to get one PWP in less than 10 min.

Never thought to try that. I like to not have my inventory full. I'll just be patient and hope they suggest all the pwps to me that they can eventually!

Do you have a good relationship with them? The ones asking me for PWP are never the new ones or those I didn't talk to for a while.

I think it would be also better to save and quit and retry later if nothing works.
