I got a dreamy, Cheri, in my Campsite. The next day, I'm setting up my game, and see she had plotted directly next to Tom, in a great area. So, I decide to just login with my mayor character. Horrible, horrible mistake. She is now in an AWFUL spot, and I'm kicking myself for being so stupid. Should I cycle her out until 16 more villagers have left? I can tell this is going to bother me a LOT, but I don't know what to do...:(

Just be happy you have her. I have her and I like her a lot. She's very overshadowed.

I don't get it, did you log into your other characters to get her from the campsite and then logged in as mayor after? I thought you're supposed to save after you find the right plot or whatever and reset til you do? So maybe if you didnt save its still a possibilty. Sorry i'm not too knowledgable on the subject lol. I'd keep her! Lolly was in a crappy place but i kept her anyways and i'm really sad that she's gone now. :(

I don't really understand why you logged in with your mayor. You should've saved with your new character and then deleted it so as to save her plot where you wanted her. I'd say, if she's really a dreamie of yours, though, that you should keep her. Maybe you can work around it? The 16-villager cycle is tedious and it may get on your nerves.

I'd cycle her out because her plot would bother me too much. That's what I did with Whitney...I'm just waiting for her to show up in my campsite now. So much better.

No, I mean on the loading screen where you see your village and villagers walking around, before logging in with your character. For some reason I saw her house next to Tom's, and thought that was where it would be set when I logged in with my mayor, so I didn't ever plot reset with her, I just signed in with my mayor.

Yeah, I've decided I'm going to have to. It'll just bother me too much.

I don't really know why they made it like this but what you see on the loading screen is not real. It's confusing because then the plot doesn't appear where you wanted it to appear and it messes everything up. :/

Except I have had it been correct.....but only for fossils so far....It has shown me two different times the location of fossils that I missed, and the loading screen had showed them correctly. So maybe it is just "sometimes" correct.

If the fossils have already been there for a day, then the loading screen will correctly show them because their locations have already been saved in your town. It doesn't work the same way for plots if your town hasn't been loaded yet. The title screen apparently is just an image of what your town could look like based on what it was when you last saved and how much time has passed, but the actual changes are made when you load your game and those changes can be different from what the title screen looks like.

If it's going to bother you i'd just let her go. I know if I kept a villager that was in a bad place it would really bother me, so if she asks to move i'd let her go. If she does decide to move out on you in the future but you're still unsure whether to cycle, i'd rather let her go now rather then later tbh because you never know when she'll ask next. It'll mean less villagers to try and cycle out, although cycling 16 out isn't all that bad though. It doesn't take a load of patience but it can be a pain, especially if she's your only peppy and you want peppy PWPS asap. I've actually moved out a load of villagers since some of my old ones have left. If you don't want to cycle but you're still bothered by her placement maybe you can find another peppy that you might like? you never know, i've liked a lot of villagers unexpectedly and have forgotten about ones that were my "staple villagers" in a sense. Good luck!
