Well, people do have a choice whether or not to let their pet live for longer and possibly die in comfort with its family but during that time your pet could be suffering more then you can see. If it was me, I'd rather have my pet put down, no need to prolong the inevitable.

puppy that was FORCED to be put down for "biting" a mailman...

Guys. We have to pay the fine due to our dog had bit another person. It's by law to put a dog down when it has bit somebody to give them rabies. :\
