Ive been plot resetting Phoebe for hours trying to get her in at least a DECENT spot
The bird REFUSES to put her house other than in my wip park. Ive turned my DS off several times with no luck. I want to just pick up this plot and move it where I want it to omg

This is killing me, at this point idc if she puts her house in the middle of my road, I just don't want her in my park area ;-;

I was thinking about putting random pwps there until I got what I wanted cuz I knew this would happen, but I never got around to it, and now im suffering ;-;

Yeah I will, I won't give up this time like I did with Chrissy
I wanted her house strategically placed next to Francinces, but I didn't know that you could PR for days, and I got close so I was like "Oh well."

There was a post awhile back that explains WHY this happens, that has to do with so many buildings and dead spots per square inch and areas if I can find it I will re post it for you here.

Yeah I always just go back a couple days and put the new character's plot in the spot that villagers keep plotting in (always in front of town hall for some reason). Then you can easily just erase the character when you're done plotting.

You can't go back one day. The second you load your mayor, whatever spot she chooses is where she stays. DON'T load your mayor or change the date.

Have you tried turning your game off and turning off the power of your ds and then starting it up again?

If you do this every few times it can totally change the randomness of the location where you want them to be.

When I found this earlier this summer it TOTALLY changed my plot resetting. It really helped.
I know how frustrating it can be. And Phoebe planted her house ONE SQUARE behind my mayors house. Sigh, I loved her, but I had plans! You know what I mean.

PWPs the day before the plot appears can help too. Good luck!

I feel your pain as I had similar problem with Puddles - she couldn't plot anywhere else *but* before my house - changing hour to 5:xx am slightly helped as it magically made her change spots then (now she also plotted in the center of the road, even though she could move to south-east area that wasn't inhabited at all) I was resetting 3 hours before she finally put her house in most fantastic place she could choose (old spot in which I had Roscoe) - now she and Gayle are neighbours

I am on board with everyone else about going back and setting a pwp. The first thing I did when I started my new town was to put in fountains everywhere I didn't want people moving. I have a lot of fountains, lol, but no infuriating move-ins where I don't want them. Good luck!

Don't give up on Phoebe's house.. I wish you luck. Like Dorian said, PWPs really help. My town was covered in streetlamps not too long ago.
