So I tt alot (Sometimes I talk to villagers) and I jsut lsot my favorite of them.

Thats right.

I didnt even get a fair warning from Isabelle the day before. I could have stopped her, but Noooooo, she just had to glitch.

I get my favorite villager ever, and within a week (out of game) and a month (In game) she moves.

I feel so ready to rage. I mean, shes always been a troll to me. Camping in my campsite twice in a row, and not moving in. Impossible to get. Wearing a ducky shirt. And she just moves.

And she treats it like a GOOD thing.

Im so done. I am NOT going to cycle for her D:

I was taking a two week break as I was studying for midterm exams and didnt want to get distracted. I wrote the date down so I would remember to tt backwards (was always self consious of losing a villager) and I tted a day backwards than the original date.

1 day... And my girl was gone. I actually got really mad and was like yelling at my sister xD

But Im 6 villagers away, so Im working on it : )

I have the same feeling with Avery but in the other way.. I've TT'd a lot since I'm cycling..He's the only original villager from the beginning who's stayed..I've tt'd probably a year or so in a few days..Honestly, I'm just not a bird person and want him gone..

Yesterday he pings me saying he's going to move..I say "ok". Avery then says: you look happy that I'm leaving so I'm staying..Best frinds forever! AHHHHHH!!!! Why, why?


PS..I just got Rosie after a long search..I hope she doesn't leave me...

Aww, sorry to hear that!

However, Isabelle never warns you when a villager is going to move out. She will tell you "X is leaving tomorrow! Make sure to say goodbye to them!" or something a long those lines, but that means the villager is already in boxes and can't be stopped anymore.

As for the campsite problem, did you have 9 villagers or less at the time and was there no plot down for a 10th villager? If so, the villager should be able to move in. They can be extremely stubborn (took me a friggin' hour to get Chrissy to move in, for example), but when they say stuff like "Nah, I think I'll stay in my own town", don't take that as an indication that they can't move in! Just keep trying (and pestering) them.

If you TT a lot the safest thing you can do is to log in with a new character to make sure no one has moved out or is in boxes.

Anyway, this is all for future reference since it won't help you now. Good luck getting her back (if you plan to do the 16 villager cycle) or finding a new sweet neighbour!

It's so weird when they don't ping you! I heard from another villager that Bob was going to move so naturally I tracked him down to get the scoop. He never pinged once and he never mentioned it in conversation. It felt unpreventable :c So, he ended up leaving...after living in my town for only a brief period. Is it because of TTing?

Also, I'm sorry to hear that :c I feel your pain!

I lost Cookie and it broke my heart, but it was kinda my fault. I've tried getting other replacements for her, but I just can't, so I'm now I'm cycling to get her back. It's been 3 out of 16, and I have 2 unwanted villagers I'll just keep evicting til she gets back.

This happened to me as well with Sly. He just refused to ping me even though I played every day all week. I did get Drago from a cycler the day after he moved out. But now my town has 3 lazies and no jock, I'm going to have to move one of them out to balance that out again.

While cycling to get a Chief back in my town I ended up losing Purrl and a Beau ;^; I time travelled day by day while doing the 16 villager cycle as I had 5 dreamies I didn't want to lose. Yet somehow Purrl and Beau ended up slipping past unnoticed and leaving. The day before they moved wasn't an event day or anything and literally no one mentioned they were considering moving T^T

I'm sorry that this happened to you. In the future, start the game as a new character when you're time travelling. That way, you can check on the map if anyone is missing and if they are, you can instead set the date to something earlier and stop that villager on time.

It wasn't a glitch that Isabelle didn't say anything, unless you loaded the game on the day before that villager left. She only says something about it if a villager is in boxes so you can remember to say goodbye or to get someone to invite them. She doesn't say anything if the villager has already moved out or if they're thinking about it but aren't in boxes yet.

I never got a warning when Rodney moved out because I was on a short break when I came back to play my game he moved out with out me knowing. After that, I just gave up trying to get him back.

I lost Frita because of all the hype associated with Toy Day.I didn't time travel in her town the week of Toy Day and I only skipped one day of playing in her town yet a couple of days after Toy Day,I started up the game and she was boxed up.And,of course,none of the other villagers ever mentioned that she was thinking of moving because they were all too busy telling me what kind of gift they wanted for &*%$#! Toy Day.I don't like Toy Day.

I just lost Beau and I am super bummed about it. I had taken a break after xmas and when I went back on the other day he was gone! I talked to him all the time and have gone on much longer breaks without him leaving, so I don't know why it happened now. He was my favorite villager too.
