I went into my second town today, and it was Rocket's birthday. Everything was normal, but when I went into her house and talked to her, she was speaking in a high pitched voice and using peppy dialogue. I thought she was uchi. Is this a glitch, or is Rocket a peppy villager?

Sounds like a glitch... Rocket is definitely uchi. :confused:
Would you be able to post a screenshot or two of the dialogue, just out of curiousity? :p

I'm out of photo space, but her exact dialogue was, "How old am I? ...I'm not telling! A lady has her secrets!"

I've been to a a few peppy villager birthday parties and none of them have said that, but then again, I've never been to an uchi's birthday party, so I don't know what their birthday dialogue is. :p

Hmmm, I'm guessing that maybe that's just her dialogue? I've never been to an uchi birthday party either though. At the worst, it would be a glitch.
All I can say is that you should probably just sit it out and wait. If it's her birthday dialogue, she'll most likely be completely back to normal tomorrow. :)

All villagers voices go up in pitch when there really happy, her personality hasn't changed at all.

Really? Never knew that. If this isn't true though I would say it is a glitch.

Usually on a villager's birthday, they're happy and dancing around. They're using the glee emotion, usually. The one where they're singing and skipping. That emotion makes the villager's voice higher pitched. I have had Rocket too. And there were times where she'd be in the state of glee, and her voice was higher pitched. It happens with cranky villagers as well.

My crankies had higher voices on April Fools Day. It was because they were upset, though.

I NOTICED THIS AND I WAS REALLY ****ING CONCERNED BECAUSE THEY SOUNDED SO WEIRD

I didn't know that about the rest, though. Interesting. I guess, then, it's normal and that's why my crankies sounded so ****ing weird on April Fool's xD;
