First off, I'd like to apologize for my sudden, unannounced, and prolonged hiatus.

I don't know what happened, but back in February, I felt the need to put New Leaf down for a while. I gave some stuff to a friend to hold, deleted my town, and went on with my life. The past couple months have been kind of nuts. My bird died in March (after I spent a week hand-feeding him and administering antibiotics in a futile effort to keep him alive), I spent the better part of last month obsessively playing Witcher 3, and the other day, I turned 28.

Again, I'd like to offer apologies to anyone I might have worried. I did kind of lurk a little, but I just... couldn't bring myself to post for some reason. Anyway, I'm back now, and I'm working on setting up the new version of Matcha. I just need you guys to cross your fingers for Rover to give me a decent map...

Hi Fenris! I am also just recently back. It's lovely to see you. And my condolences for the loss of your sweet little bird. I am very sorry, but you tried your best and should be proud of that. That little birdie was well loved by you. I dropped off the radar as well. Too busy taking care of my mother who has advancing dementia. Then I got mono, lol. But I am trying to claw my way back into a semblance of real life. Again, good to see you, sweetie!
