Hey everyone!

So real life got in the way of my AC life and I've not even switched my 3DS on in about 3 weeks!
So big question how messed up is my town going to be? If I TT back to the rough date I played last can I make it out as though I've never been away? Then just TT each day after making sure no one pings?
Hopefully I'll get caught up then!

First of all, welcome back.

Second of all, start the game as a new character and make sure nobody's gone. As soon as Porter hands you the map, you can check to see if any houses are gone. If they are, you do need to set your clock back to around the last time you played (check the Activity Log from the 3DS menu). If no one is gone, you could play right away, though I think friendships drop to starting levels after three weeks. It probably means you'll have to endure comments like, "So, you finally decided to talk to me?" before regular conversations will continue.

You might want to go back to when you last played and slowly TT forward, talking to all your buds each time before jumping ahead. Of course, that will increase the risk of losing somebody. I don't know, if nobody was gone, I'd probably consider just playing from today and repairing friendships.

Yeah, April 1 is pretty fun. That little scamp Blanca impersonates your villagers and you have to pick the real villager. It's plenty cute when the two identical villagers have their hands in a begging pose while you choose between them!

Well just started a new character and Astrid has gone! Not happening! TTing it is! Wish me luck! Eek!

Oh, no! She's your mascot! To be safe, I would start as a new character even after TTing back (can only be done with the 3DS clock, not Isabelle), unless you are pretty sure of your last day played. If you do, check in her house to make sure she's not in boxes.

Hehe I know! She can't leave Celador! I've had her since day one! She is back though so yay! Just have to get back to today's date!

Just wondering how many days to go at a time. Really nervous now that I know she may go! Eek!

I don't understand I was on the 11th, her house was there, she had a sign on it saying she was out. I talked to everyone who was out. I couldnt find Astrid though. TTd to 12th and her house has gone?!

Huh.. I'm guessing you TT'd back to a date where she was still thinking about moving, but if she was completely gone on the 12th, she should have been in boxes on the 11th.. And she clearly wasn't if the sign on her door said she was out.

I'm really sorry that happened, and I'm not sure how it happened, either. So this is also meant as a bump in hopes others can shed more light on this.

I know weird right? I'm gutted as I don't know what I did wrong! She wasn't in her house on the 11th as I tried to go in there and couldn't as she was out. Therefore she couldn't have been in boxes so I'm not sure how she went on the 12th!

I dunno what to do now I feel horrible that she has gone but I love my town and have put so much work into it the idea of resetting breaks my heart too. Kyoko that would be so nice of you but I'm no sure how long it will take me to get through the 16! Don't want you to be holding onto her forever!
