I'm a streetpass dummy.

I got my first streetpass today.I went to home depot and when I got home I had 4 houses in my showcase.This was a bit exciting because I have never been able to streetpass before.

A couple of hours later I went to McDonalds but I didn't get anything.

How many can you get in a day?

Do the people that I streetpassed have to be at home depot at the same time as me?

Is my house in all 4 of theirs too?

Sorry for the goofy questions but I would really like to know more about street passing.

It seems like I am having a Villager move in from streetpass soon. Since it looks like I got a streetpass for the game, and I did not get any HHA house (Never mind. The dot was blue. Don't know what I was thinking)

i think you can get 10 streetpasses a day, but i'm not 100% sure about that. they do not have to be at home depot with you, but pretty sure home depot isn't an area for streetpasses so you might have just been there at the same time as you. you probs didn't get one at mcdonald's bc no one has gone there before you with a DS.

nopes. everyone will have diff houses that show up at HHA. it's whoever you've managed to get a streetpass from if they played acnl. hope this helps

I think you can get 20 street passes in one go, provided you actually pass by people who have ACNL & their street pass on xD Probably when you were at McDonald's no one there had acnl or their wifi on. c: Sometimes when i go downtown i can get like 15 passes LOL but other times i get like none. And yeah your house should show up in their HH showcase if you allowed it to !

Also, I'm pretty sure it might not be limited per day. I think it might be per session you load up the streetpass into your game. Someone else might have to corroborate that, though, as it's been a while since I had my ACNL Streetpass on. But back when I first got ACNL, I think I remember getting multiple rosters of people every day.

There's a feature for Nintendo Zone at some places where you don't have to be in the same place at the same time. The Nintendo Zone loads your information, and later, someone else will receive it when they pass the Nintendo Zone. I've never gotten this to work, though, so again, someone will have to corroborate.

And yes! Your home will now be in their games I think there might be a way to Streetpass yourself, with multiple 3DSes

It maxes out at 20...but I am not sure if that is 20 per day or 20 and then you load up the game and then you can get another 20, etc.
Assuming you didn't use nintendo zone, there were four people at home depot with animal crossing near you, and your house will be in their games too.
If you use the nintendo zone at starbucks or mcdonalds or something and connect you that you get the streetpass data for the last couple people who connected, so those people you dont necessarily physically pass unless one is there and does it like a minute before you xD
If you connect to a nintendo zone, your house and data will show up for the next few people who connect to it like they'd passed you irl.

The reason I took my ds to home depot was because I had read a while back that it was a nintendo zone.There wasn't too many people there.Just a few employees and a couple of older men buying wood and cement.lol.So I'm thinking I had gotten streetpassed by people who had been there previously.So I was really thinking that McDonalds would get me a bunch sinse more kids go there.And it's a busier spot.I guess I'll just run around to different areas once in a while and see if I get anything.Is it just me or is streetpassing kind of fun?

Home Depot is the best place around me for Streetpasses because of the Nintendo Zone thing I go there just FOR streetpasses sometimes. It's usually the same people, but I don't care, I still like getting them.

I always get like 93217498734 streepasses, but then I live in London so I guess a lot of people have DSs?

I'm pretty sure you can get 20 at a time and then when you play your game it goes back to zero, even if you hadn't got to the cap of twenty. They're pretty cool and I really like getting streetpassed, except when the person is clearly a 6 year old who will never play the game again and has like 1 room with no furniture.

Of course, I'm not sure if Nintento still gives out the houses every Monday, but I've never gotten one of those, either

I don't know all the specifics, but I think you can "favorite" the ones you want to get stuff from later and then you can keep getting more. like if you're at a convention. I'm not sure if you have to clear them out of the mii plaza or not or if that even effects AC???

I was a streetpass dummy, it seemed strange and mysterious to me.. then when I went to London last week I decided to take my 3DS. Left it on standby, walked about a hella-lot (20000 steps according to 3ds, ta) and soon got my 20 streetpass people, huzzah.

The most I have ever streetpassed was in an airport before Christmas. Video game stores and shopping centers are also good places. I get a few at school but all the houses are balloon furniture and nintendo items :/

Also, I know Target used to be a spotpass relay place, I'm not sure if it still is. I ended up streetpassing someone I followed on Tumblr, but she had been there hours before me.
