I have a friend at work that lent me his town yesterday because he was going to wipe it. ( Strange guy, he doesn't like ACNL. Takes all kinds I suppose... anyways ) The deal is I get to play around on his copy, and if I found my dream town I can either get him another copy to switch or I'll buy him a game of his choosing to replace it.
I found my perfect town four resets in and moved in as mayor. I was so excited this morning I forgot to log in on a throwaway character and now have Gwen smack dab in between retail and the town hall. D'oh. Now have another villager I'll have to show to the train station.
The perfect news is that I have Rosie as one of my starting villagers! She's going to make someone very happy when she's ready to move. I've decided not to sell her, she'll be going into a give-away draw once she's in boxes. Most of the dreamies I need for my town are not popular ( with the exception of Deirdre ) so since I won't be spending a lot on collecting my villagers I wouldn't feel right making a profit off of the one dreamie that luck placed there.
I can't believe that I acted like a little kid on Christmas morning and now have to move out another townie. I'm going to have to post a sticky on my DS reminding me to check before I play!

I had to change the theme of my dream town so I no longer need Julian - there were too many Harry Potter theme towns out there. My new town is called Misimu, which means Seasons in Swahili. My mayor is named Winter. I can't wait to start building!
