They added new items to the fortune cookies, and the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS are in them!
A friend of mine just got it.
So if you have been struggling to find the new Wii U and Nintendo 3DS items, you can grab them through the fortune cookies now!

I just spent 50 play coins resetting to get the 3ds/Wii U, ended up with the Wii U finally and so glad I can play the island escape game! I could always use another AC game, even if it's just a minigame. Hoping I can get the 3DS soon too c:

Although I'm planning to buy some amiibo later anyway so IDK why I even bothered spending so many play coins when I can buy it from them...
