If you had no choice but to start a new village, what would you do differently than you did in your town now?

I would wait to get all my dream villagers and hoard all the garden supplies I could until I had them all, then I would landscape. Thankfully I plotted most of my villagers out of the way so making a path wasn't that troublesome.

Do about the same, but I'd like to make a map for my town in order to plan things out a little better. Also make sure I fill up Re-tail with ores and flowers just so my dreamies don't wreck their houses as soon as they move in.

I would play acnl just to play acnl. What I mean by that is that I will live out each day to it's fullest, catching bugs, running around, revealing in grass. Eventually I'd settle down and landscape and stuff, but I miss the joys of being an ACNL player, and not just a landscaper. In fact, I might even reset my 2nd town, Palinoia, just to do this.

I would do about that too. I would also place my house by a pound so villagers couldn't ruin my view.

I'd just restarted, so I'm happy with what I have now. But before, I wanted a better set-up, so my house wasn't a river away from Retail, I would also want there not to be a rock right in the middle of the road.

I have done this too many times, and i'll never do it again. Biggest regret in AC:NL was TTing a lot.
You can say that my reset was last year, Leafton. I chose the map that got me memories with the 2nd town layout I had in 2013. I restarted my first one.

I would fix my mistakes that I did in my town that was reset.

The mistakes I would fix would be the PWP Placement and the flaws of my town decoration plan.

Plot reset and redo paths a certain way, and a new map.
I wish I would've learned about plot reset sooner than I did, so I could've had villagers in certain places, instead of all over the place.

Map is just meh to me now. Rocks are in such terrible places so it's annoying.

What a coincidence! I actually restarted my town not two days ago :o
I decided since there was a perfect number of ten sheep, I was going to make my town an all sheep town!
I was going to be the shepherd of this little town, and I would bring back the sheep from which originally this town was a safe haven. Tortimer was too lazy with the sheep that lived there before and so they all wandered off. Only one remained! A loyal sheep! Sweet baabara! :D
And I've only brought one sheep to town so far. Im doing well. That's actually the reason for my joining this website.
I need sheep! Well anyways yes I'm just plotting sheep and works projects and then I'll do other stuff like make farm tree things.

I'd really think about my town layout~ Additionally, I'd be way more lax about landscaping and instead of trying to block out every single bit of land available, I'd just kind of let nature start to take over. I'd wait for flowers to spring up naturally and where I see a clump, add my own hybrids and make it feels more like the town is a big ol' garden for me and my villagers. ^_^

I'm actually really wanting to reset, but I've done so so much in my town that it breaks my heart to think of losing all my progress.

I would play just for kicks instead of unlocking and cataloging everything as fast as possible. I will eventually reset my cartridge, but I will always keep my first town which is on digital copy (unless of coarse it gets corrupted). I will not be seeking any dreamies when I reset Roots.

I think I might choose a different map with less ponds. I thought it might be nice when I made it, but it kind of mucks up where I can put houses and PWPs. My town is only a few months old though, so I'm still in the 'figuring it all out' process I guess! Some things I'm really happy with and others I'm not sure if I want to change, path and landscaping wise.

Find a better map, probably. However, I'm really picky and would probably miss the old one.

I would probably try and play super legit and natural. Let villagers move in where they want, lay out all my pwp where I want them to go, and hopefully not have a glitched island so bugs will actually spawn.

Oh, and also not be on TBT. Just totally legit items and super hardcore.

I'd try to get a completely different map and put my mayor's house somewhere else. I'd also change the name. (Westeros, my main town). And change my mayor's face.
