I think I would go with cats if only so I could keep Bob in my town. Rabbits are a close second though.
And they're not an animal but one of my dreams is to have an all uchi town~

I've already got my 10 deer. :3 Very happy with them even though I have oter villagers I prefer over 4 of them.
Also have a horse town which covers some of my other favourites.
As there's 13 horses I cut out Julian, Colton and Buck. Julian because he's not a horse and I used to have him in my old town, Colton I just don't like and Buck I forgot to plot reset for and he managed to squeeze between 2 pwp and not into the south of town. S; Otherwise I'd have Buck over Savannah who I also don't like much.

Deeeeeeeeeer <3 fave irl animal and was so excited when the new game had deer in it. I think I currently have 6-7. My original plan was to have an all deer town but I decided against it.

Frogs are my favourite animal, but I love Walker too much to not have him. So either frogs or dogs.
With dogs I would have Walker, Daisy, Cherry, Cookie, Lucky, Butch, Portia...
