They seem cold and mean on the outside but they're really nice once you get to know them better, which takes a long time.
When they warm up to you, they're the best villagers ^^

Oh I'd love this for a personality! Or someone who is really nerdy.

I do like the idea of a gentleman personality, though..

I do, too! A Professor Layton type! *swoon* They can be well-dressed, hat-wearing lemurs. They'd offer to catch rare fish for you! Heh. I would like to see worrywart meerkats. They fuss and nag and worry and give you an umbrella when it's raining so you don't catch a cold. Also, nerdy, reclusive glasses-wearing lizards. They give you facts, figures and trivia like whoa (very boring conversations) but are rarely seen outside of their homes, which you can't get into until you're great friends with them.

I think the game could use a "little brother" type for the male characters. Something that's energetic and playful without being a jock, casual without being lazy, and look up to the player like a mentor. Animals like Rod and Marshal would be well suited for that kind of personality.

I think a "smart" or "bookish" personality would be great for either gender, too. A type that reads a lot, often states random facts and bits of trivia, is very matter-of-fact and loves writing and sending letters. Not the most friendly at first (like cranky and snooty) but warms up over time. I'd have Mott converted over to that type ASAP. As well as Derwin, Velma, Cobb and Doc.

I think it would be nice to have some kind of overly busy or stressed out personality, they'd probably be in the cafe 10x more often

Dunno...I agree with the geeky. It would be so cute. The could have little glasses and carry a computer/phone/book all the time. And talk scientifically... <3

I wouldn't mind seeing a character personality where they are pretty pessimistic. They'd have the worst luck and usually be frowning. I don't know. It would make me want to befriend them more.

Yandere for damn sure. Psychotic little *****es who make others move out with death threats. Instead of talking to the moving villager, you need to talk the yandere out of wanting to kill the villager trying to move out to escape her in order to keep your villager.

This. For males, specifically. Same with the 'lonely' personality that was mentioned in the OP - on a female villager it would probably come across a whiny.

I'd like to see something equivalent to lazy/tomboy-ish for females. They're all too goody-goody and nice at the moment.

I would love a stoner personality. That's a little close to the lazy personality but their eyes could be half closed all the time and a little red. They could talk about munchies and get along with everyone :>.

I'd like an air head/dreamy personality for females, kind of like Luna Lovegood or Mist from Rune Factory. A geek/nerdy personality for males would be cute too.

An awkward pessimist; screws things up and gets sad, but you can cheer them up if you say the right thing with a few tricky options. I also wish villagers had more background to them, little things like an annoying sister back home they still miss, or that time they studied all night for an exam, relatable qualities and stuff. ;w;
