If I made an Alt Character

If I made an alt character, would he ever have to talk to the villagers?
In WW, they never shut up about deleted characters that they had never even met!

I don't want to make the mistake of creating a character that will linger in villagers memories, should I delete him/her.

In New Leaf they won't talk about the character once they're deleted. (Was this the answer you were looking for?)

I’ve specifically gone out of my way to make sure I don’t speak to any of my villagers on any of my alts, and they don’t talk about them to my mayor at all bc of it.

The only time they’ll say anything about my alts is if they’re near one of their houses, usually it’s something along the lines of, “wow, I can’t belive X lives in a tent!”

Do you plan on placing an alt chatacter where the fountain is? Just wondering, because Nook will tear it down for you when he asks where you plan on placing the house. He'll remove plants and pwp's that are in the way, free of charge and you won't have to wait a day for it to be demolished.

I moved W.Link in to my town the other day, and he hasn't met my alt character.

I just visited him and he talked about her!
He said something about building his relationship up with her, the RIGHT way.

WHAT?

Now I have to kick W.Link out.

Epona also mentioned my alt when we were outside her house.

Not sure, but he probably won't talk about the alt again. I have 3 alts in most of my towns, and never have them talk to the villagers, but now and then one of them will mention an alt. I don't think it's ever been the same villager mentioning an alt though--so it shouldn't be like W.Link is obsessed with this particular alt or anything like that.

I've also deleted alts before--who had never spoken to the villagers--and the villagers have never mentioned them since.

I love being able to do what I want with that character, and never get pinged for fruit or other absurdities.

I love not having villagers barge in, when I'm trying to do something in my house.

I know my villagers ALWAYS talk about the alt when I’m near their house.

I love not having villagers barge in, when I'm trying to do something in my house.

I haven't had that happen my alt. I've had him for a while. I haven't talked to any villagers, just npcs and snowmen.

If you don't interact with them, they don't ping you and just glance your way when you walk by. I haven't had any barge in since the only few villagers my alt interacted with (and actually had a friendship with) have moved out. I don't spend too much time in the house, though.

(I wish I knew how to get them to stop calling the alt bell-pincher she has like NO money)

It seems so entirely random sometimes. I accidentally talked to one of my villagers with one of my alts once and they have never mentioned or talked about her to my mayor. Nor have any of them ever brought up my other alt that I have on purpose talked to them with. It's weird!

First thing he said (I did take screens but couldn't be bothered emailing them to myself on the 3ds etc) was "I wonder what kind of person Daenerys (my alt) is?"

He went on to say he wants to build the relationship up, the right way (again).

The two times I've visited him, my alt is ALL he talked about!

Booting him out.
