So far the items I have that I'd probably like to keep are:

- kitchen island
- kitchen refrigerator
- deluxe range
- kitchen corner
- kitchen sink (I like the way this and the corner appear to connect)
- electric kettle
- pickle jar
- salad bar

I'd really appreciate some suggestions/possible upgrades (for example the kitchen corner and sink don't look as nice and shiny as the island, refrigerator, salad bar, and range, but I do like how they 'join' together). Also it looks very empty, definitely need a nice table and chairs and more kitcheny things - especially counters! Plus some floor and wall recommendations would be really appreciated, thanks!

Also exactly the same as above, but bathroom - so far I only have these items:

- shower stall
- super toilet
- bathtub

I'd love that round spa type bathtub thing (forget the name) obtained from the island (I'd replace the bathtub with it) - but other than that, could really do with some ideas! Floors and walls included!

Don't care how the furniture is obtainable, any suggestions really appreciated, please and thank you! :)

I don't usually make kitchens so I'm no help on that, but I love to include screens in bathrooms. It gives them a feeling of privacy and maybe a little class. There are lots of different screens depending on the type of feel you're going for. Some of my favorites:

- Violet Screen
- Ivy Partition
- Mermaid Screen
- Cabana Screen

in kitchens:
- some type of plant
- eating area/tables and chairs
- some kind of food on plate or one of the tea sets

in bathrooms:
- lotus lamp or
- a white tile floor

hope this can help in some kind of way ^_^

In my kitchen, I used a few modern cabinets remade with silver nuggets. It gives a stainless steel look to things.

Getting a nice kitchen is hard. I agree that the kitchen refrigerator and kitchen counter don't work too well with the kitchen sink and corner. I have those furniture in my mayor's house, and liked it better when I just had the regular refrigerator. However, I figured that it was a small inconvenience and decided to overlook it.

If you decide not to do that, then you could add the Kitchen Stove and Kitchen Dishwasher which are both available in Admiral's RV.

As for decorations it would be a bit more easier if you had a theme in mind. For example, I wanted my kitchen to have a Mexican look. For the layout, I used the arched window wallpaper and kitchen flooring. I also added lots of brown furniture like:

- tea tatsu
-2 brown pots
-sloppy table
-writing chair
-pot rack
-alpine shelf
-display shelf
-hospital tv
-pendulum clock
-turntable (because I need music)
-ranch wall rack (it's more gold, but meh...)

Plants help too. Especially aloe since it's edible. You can also add a mop, a basic trash can or trash bin. I also pushed some minimal tables along the wall to use as a counter top for appliances and food (which there are many).

My bathroom doesn't have a lot of items because I share that room with a bedroom. However, I agree with what LadyDestani said. Screens do add a much needed sense of privacy especially when space is limited.

You could also add:
-bath mat
-bathroom shelf (Harvey sells this)
-box of tissue (I use this as toilet paper)
-potty
-minimal table (to hold a plant or anything else)
-bathroom sink
-aurora screen
-chaise lounge

Good luck!
