Ideas for Flowers?

I'm getting close to finishing the landscaping in my town, and all that's left are flowers. The problem is, I have no idea what to do with them! So what are some designs or patterns that you've made with flowers? and what are some color/species combinations that you like?

I have my town's name spelled out in a large bed of white and red roses. ^^

I'm also working on large murals of a sunny day with blue roses, yellow cosmos, and white carnations and a crescent moon night with black roses, yellow tulips, and gold roses.

I just plant them randomly - I don't want my town looking TOO over the top planned out. But I really like when people do the whole checkerboard arrangement with two different colors, or make rainbows ~

I found out the other day that I really like the white cosmos and red rose combination. I think that they look classy and easy to do since those are common colors.

I've seen people putting different flowers but of the same colours together, i.e. white roses, white lilies, white cosmos, white tulips; and they look very neat around PWPs such as fountains

If you have tons of trees, you can also put a lot of flowers underneath them; I've seen black, purple, orange flowers and they super cute too

I made an American flag with red, white and blue roses the other day, but I guess you wouldn't like that if you aren't from the US... I have Checkerboard Pink/purple spots cosmo/Tulip Rose/Violet and Rose/Tulip and they look really cute! checkerboard Orange Cosmo and tulips looked nice and Blue pansy/Blue Rose looked really luxurious...

I just mixed Bamboo and Sun cosmos too and it looked really good! will look even cooler with the Blue hydrangeas planted near too!

i'm a huge fan of the pink lily and blue pansy combination. i'm also a fan of- pink roses + blue violets, black + white + gold + red roses, and black + white + red tulips. good luck on choosing combinations!

I like putting flowers around the villagers I want to keep houses. Like Flurry currently has a small sea of pink roses around her pink house. Thinking of adding a secondary colour, possibly white roses. Just picking one of two of the colours on the houses and try to match it Frita has orange flowers around her house.

Also around my pond I have roses going from red to orange to yellow and back to red again growing around it

These are my favourite combinations:
- pink lily and white lily
- white rose, red rose and pink rose
- purple tulip, orange tulip and white tulip
- yellow, white and pink flowers
- white, orange flowers and gold roses
- white cosmos and orange cosmos
- white carnatian and jacob's ladder
- purple pansy and white pansy

I've kept it pretty simple in my town, mostly using regular flowers. I don't use many flowers in general. lots of white and yellow cosmos. some purple violets. and pink cosmos. those are what I put around things. my house has pink and orange lilies around it because I like those. and it's my house.
I have flowers lining the south and west parts of town. all yellow and white. I use lilies, cosmos and violets for that.
