So, I'm trying to get back into New Leaf, and I'm in a very winter-y mood, so I'm trying to think of a rustic winter town. Not overly Christmas-y or "in-your-face", but a simple, natural looking town. I'm looking for villager, house, name, and PWP suggestions! I'm looking for one villager of every type, too. Just a personal preference. I've never experienced winter in ACNL before, so I don't know what a good winter town should look like! Thanks!

The first villager I feel like suggesting is Erik! A few more could be
Fauna (normal)
Sprinkle,
Lola (peppy)

As pwp for sure the bonfire, and a log bench close to it. Maybe 2 on each side.
The fairy tale benches and streetlight have some winter feel to me. But that?s just my opinion.
You could turn your mayor or an alternate character house into a nice cozy little bar when you serve hot chocolate and teas, putting tea sets and cakes on the customers tables. Make use of wood exteriors for the house, and brownish and natural warm colors for the furniture inside. A nice fireplace too!
A nice name for your town?
What about Winteria, or Icelake, Neve (it means snow in Italian and I think it sounds cute in every language), Sherbet...

Can't go wrong with a cottage. Lots of wood furniture, some holiday plants like poinsettias, fireplaces, rocking chairs, a big feast with a turkey and pie or a tart. Hot choco, like what Candyapple said, candles by cozy looking beds, cushions and a pile of books by the fireplace to read at night.

For villagers, I think any of the natural colored forest type species would work:

- Deer
- Bears/Cubs (I've got to put in a plug for my guy Grizzly as he is great in a natural setting.)
- Wolves
- Rabbits
- Squirrels
- Birds
- Penguins (In New Zealand, penguins that look like Hopper nest in the forest, so he would be perfect, and his house has a rustic exterior.)

For pwps, I would suggest the bonfire, log bench, water well, water pump, hot springs, geyser, stone tablet, stonehenge, streetlamps or streetlights, and either the wooden or suspension bridges.

So far, I think I'll add Grizzly, Teddy, Erik, and Marshal in my town. Thanks for all of the help with this town! I'm still open to suggestions!

I finally got the villagers settled! We have Teddy, Grizzly, Marshal, Erik, Octavian (he doesn't fit the theme but he's my favorite and I need him), Rolf, Bianca, Flo, Gwen, and Aurora! I just need a name!

I'm actually combining my cat town with my winter town since having two towns is too hectic for me. Thanks for all of the suggestions for villagers, though!
