Ideas for a maze-themed island?

Ever since preparing for my island design, I wanted to make it a maze. My island name is AMELIA, which is an acronym for “Amazing Maze-Exhibiting Land In Aqua” and also honors my favorite villager. Can anyone help give me some ideas to turn my land into a maze?

Definitely use the hedge fence because it’ll give you a quick and easy way to make a maze and the DIY just uses weeds, stones, and tree branches which aren’t hard to find. Also terraforming your island’s waterways could be cool because you couldn’t build a maze my making lots of tiny river ways without having to build any sort of fence or wall
