Smash Bros Idea for a new type of smash tournament?

Just throwing this out there but I have a few ideas for less-serious tournaments or even just ideas for quick matches.
- Mii-Only tournament (sin?)
-Randomised tournament (you can only play with fighters chosen by random)

These probably won't go anywhere but they'd be fun ideas for regular matches.

I've actually hosted a few Random tourneys here and they were quite fun! I don't know about the Miis, though haha. I think there was a custom tourney as well. But if you really want a less serious tourney, we can all do 1- minute coin matches hahaha.

I actually thought of an idea for a tournament a while ago where you would need to play Mario Maker Alpha version and use random characters. A random tournament wouldn't get any more random than that. The tournament never happened though since I have no idea how to host tournaments.

It's not hard. Most of these tourneys follow the same template, just a few tweaks to the rules here and there.

The only trouble really is people who don't do their matches, but that's another story for another day.

I want to host a tournament where you are only allowed to be Mewtwo, Greninja, Jigglypuff, Pikachu, Lucario, or Charizard and all Pokeballs, high items, at Kalos or stadium

That sounds like a lot if fun, actually. Still not sure which tourney I wanna make.

it would have to be like 5 stock instead of three though, to cut back on BS wins.... but thats the fun of tournaments! Iwoudl love a random tournament because I feel like I can play well with a lot of people, and have more fun trying to figure out a new character within like ten seconds
