I'd like to put a fountain here buuuuut....

So I'd really like to put a fountain in front of my town hall, but there's currently a giant rock that cannot be demolished there. Is there some way to work around it?

You can still put it there, you know! Just a little bit closer than what you might expect.
As you can see, mine is only 2 steps away from a rock but I built it just fine. So you should be okay!

Ugh those dumb rocks! Dang, why do the have to be in the way of everything. And so big and ugly!

Anyways...ya pretty sure you can still put the fountain there for sure, I actually think I have a rock in the same exact place you do. And I put 2 fountains in front of town hall, one on each side. There's a villager house next to my rock, and I planted a tree in front of it, so it's kind of disguised. But ugh. I feel for you.
