My birthday is coming up on August 21st, and I was thinking that since I'm house-bound due to physical chronic health/mental issues (not to mention all the covid madness as I'm in a super hot spot), and I don't have friends in real life (yeah it's pathetic, but hey I'm honest about it!) I could invite anyone who wanted to come visit and celebrate if anyone wanted to keep me company and just say hello and have a birthday party on my island! Many parts of my island are quite barren and under construction at this time, so please bear with me on that. I hope to have it looking better soon before hand if I have time. My house isn't decorated either really as I've just been storing DIYs lol...

This would be a free event, no presents are necessary! I was thinking maybe people could possibly RSVP once I set a time or just maybe do it throughout the day off and on? I'm on PST time and wanted to see if anyone was interested in this idea and when a good time of day would be for me to do it for the majority of users and their time zones. Has anyone done this before? If so, how did it go? Was it worth it and did you have a good time? I figured I could send out dodo codes for so many people to visit at a time, or, I dunno, again, if someone has done this, suggestions and ideas/comments are more than welcome! Looking for feedback, thank you again so much for reading and taking the time to read and reply!! =^.^=

You could probably make a thread in the Airport sub forum and roughly mark a time. Like Aug 21 @ 6pm PST, etc etc. Since you have some time, look around at the forum this friday and see when it's the busiest. I feel like RSVPing might be little hard, so it might better to let people come and go.
There's also the new dodo queue code mechanic that was recently implemented on the forum which is a lot easier to handle with handing out the dodo codes than private messaging.

I haven't held a birthday bash but I did hold one event back in May and it was my first time so it was kind of chaotic. It helps if you have a friend to help organize, haha. It still went well despite me holding it in the early AMs (I think I started at 12AM, lol)

Aww, that sounds awesome! I won't be home that day unfortunately, but I believe a party like that is a great idea, parties in AC always tend to turn out really fun ^^

Thank you all so much for your kind replies! Gosh, you all are so sweet!! Thank you!! *is bowled over with kindness* I have now added a wishlist, but again, just having people come over and hang out or say hi is enough for me!! =^.^=

P.S. I'll have a craftables link up soon too as for things I can make for others, if anyone wants to bring the mats for me to make a specific diy for you! I'll get to work on that list next! Thank you all so very much again!
