If new leaf was my only current 3DS game after it got messed up I would prob start looking on ebay for any cheap used ones

If anyone moved into my town and put their house over any part of the park area that I've spent so much time on, I'd come pretty close to quitting, lol.

That's probably me lol. Actually, I'd be really close to quitting if someone (not just wifi players but villagers as well) destroyed by town. (Villagers can easily destroy my town by plotting a house in the middle of a path/garden/etc.)

I quit my last AC town because someone came to visit from a forum and planted one of those virus things that I couldn't remove and stole a load of my hybrids. That was pretty sad! I haven't had that happen so far in New Leaf everyone is pretty professional.

I feel like I can't stop now because all my hybrids will die and I keep thinking of new ways so make my landscaping better. It's not perfect at all.

I do wonder what will eventually made me stop playing everyday... I hope it is because Nintendo release a new 3DS version, although its hard to see how it would get better... more furniture? The could do more special furniture give aways, or furniture that did more stuff now. Another island? More bugs/fish... More games. I wish the European version had more holidays too... Hmm. I think we might be waiting a while.

My game was corrupt haha! I've spoken about resetting but if my town was taken away without my say so id die, 1500 hours down the drain!

If I got bored, or a new AC game came out. When I only had Celadon, I'd would have quit or at least reset if Gladys moved away, but now I can just transfer her into another town if that happens.

Just like everyone before me, I'd definitely quit if my town got corrupted. I've spent so much time cataloguing, growing hybrids, finding all my dreamies, amassing bells from the stalk market, catching all the fish and bugs, and I've just worked so hard on this file that I probably wouldn't be up for it again. I do hate my mayor name and town name and wish I could start over, but everything I've done up to this point is what's holding me back.

Broken record here, but a file corruption would absolutely do it for me. I'm hardly even 30% done with my town but I've put so much work into it, including getting dreamies and meticulously placing their houses in the right spots.

I don't think I'd ever completely quit but if my town's save data ever was erased I'd probably take a really long break.
Or if I lost all my most valued villagers. It'd be hard to pick up the DS again if that happened.

Yeah, the corrupt save file sounds the worst and I would most likely be pretty crushed by it. It seems like it's so hard to re-create, especially since I've spent a lot of time on mine already. :<

That's probably the only way I'd quit out of frustration haha. I'd be sad if any of my animals moved out, it took me awhile to get all of them and it wouldn't be the same without them...also I have 4 characters in that town now so I couldn't plot reset for the new villager I would get. :\
