You know how if you sit under the tree, the town's history shows up? I wish there was an option where you can see who moved out and when. I enjoyed all my villagers, even the ones that moved on, so that might be nice.

I wish they'd do this too, somehow. Today I saw a screenshot I took last year of Friga and I was SHOCKED! I had totally forgotten that Friga ever lived in my town. Made me feel terrible.
It would be cool if the town tree showed it, yeah!
I don't intend to let many of my villagers leave, but I think I'll keep track of which villagers I've had in the 'notes' part of the 3DS. Saving their letters is a good idea, too.
Also, I've always wondered, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to ask, can only villagers you've voided show up on main street? Or if someone adopts a villager from you, can you still find them on main street sometimes?

Yeah, I know that some of them show up on main street, but not all of them do. Also, it takes a while, so the most recent move outs will not show at all unless 3 or 4 of your current villagers move out. It would just be nice to have a "memory", as it were, of all past villagers. I do forget, but dont want to.
Oh, I see. I was asking because I thought if, for example, you voided one villager but adopted out the others, and you only ever saw that one villager in main street, that would make me kind of sad... I'm glad that doesn't seem to be the case.

Yup, moved out villagers dont appear in town history ever again. Makes me feel sad, its like they didnt exist in your town at all...

Villagers you've sent to others can appear on main street sometimes! I gave Bunnie to a dear friend quite a while back and she still pops up on my main street. I asked my friend if Bunnie was still in her village (just in case) and she said she's still living there.

Yeah, I know for a fact Hazel went to live with someone else and she is the most frequent lurker of my main street.

No I actually think that it would be the worse thing to happen, especially if you had like over 100 neighbors.

This, I lost Molly & Stitches and had to do a 16 villager cycle to get them both back ;__;
Luckily they moved into my brother's town so it wasn't like I had to lurk the villager board to get them back, I just had to cycle through 16 villagers. But, it's such a pain, I drove my brother nuts because once I get down to the last 2 villagers I gotta kick out of my town I get super lazy cause after time travelling them out I gotta do the plot resetting for them. But, it was worth it to get the little cuties back into my town lol.
