I wish the mist lasted longer than an hour. Looking at my weather seed, all the mist is at 7AM and no other times.

me too! I'm yet to see it in game yet bc I don't wake up early enough, I wish there would be some misty nights.

I love it too. I play most days at 7 am, and I’ve only seen it twice. Last time it happened Redd was on my island and his ship looked really scary hiding in the mist.

I also wish the mist would last longer into the day! I feel like I used to get mist at more times of the day than just 7am, but that's the only time it appears for me now as well.

I can confirm that fog can be experienced in winter:

this was taken back during the fair this year (August is on the tail end of winter for SH)

I think I've only ever seen the very end of it, with some light mist at the end of the hour? I might have to start checking Meteonook just to find out when the fog happens... Could definitely be more frequent if you ask me!

I've yet to experience it myself, so I'd definitely appreciate it happening more frequently. The conditions look fantastic for taking unique shots around the island.

I didn't know mist was a thing tbh. Honestly I just want to get to snowy season. That's my favorite Season in acnh

I've experienced it twice since I've been waking up very early in the morning. I absolutely love it and wish it last longer than it does.
It's the best when it's at it's thickest in my opinion. You can barely see your surroundings and it makes faraway objects look creepy and ominous. I really was hoping that fog happened during nights too, but sadly that doesn't seem to be the case. It would have turned NH into a horror game at night for me. Imagine getting chased by a tarantula or scorpion in such limited visibility.

in real life, fog can last far past 7am and can happen at night :/ shame it's not like that in NH.
fog is gorgeous tho

fun fact, fog is literally just a cloud that condensed really close to the ground. so if you're walking in fog you're actually walking in a cloud. x)

I had fog and water mist happen at the same time on October 19th. It was eerily beautiful.

I havenlt experienced the mist yet, but it looks awesome. I don't play super early, so that's probably why.
