Why does everyone hate rap? I mean yeah I know Lil Wayne and all rap about drugs, sex, alcohol ect. It doesn't mean you hate it overall, There's clean rappers like hmm let's say 2pac, Eminem and Probably Lil Kim. I mean I hate rock bands ect but I still like ]No no no, I love some rap music. Nicki Minaj is like, a goddess. Her lyrics are just, holy hell.

I'd like to say i'm musically neutral, but i usually tend to lean towards rock/sub genre's of rock, as opposed to rap. not to say i don't like/enjoy it, i just tend to gravitate the other way.

@ second paragraph, point taken, and very true. it just gives rap haters the ability to say that all of rap is like that, or that they're popular only because of this, thus creating a vicious cycle, if you will.. but yes, i'd agree that if his life experiences were different, he would have different lyrics/songs.

@ linkin park, i think they're something like nu-metal, or some kind of rap rock.. i don't really know. i didn't/don't care much for them.
