I want to time travel maybe a week back on my island to back to been in Fall because its my favourite season and want to experience it for a bit longer.

Is going back a week going to affect anything? I don't have any turnips, so I don't need to worry about those. Just wanted to ask if I should be worried about anything when going back at least a week or maybe more. <3

So I've only TT'd a few times in NH, but from my experience TTing backwards will restart the current day that you are on (in terms of shops, villager relationships (they won't say "I haven't seen you in forever" because to them its the same day), etc). Other than that, it won't really "do" anything! :)

OK, thank you! :)

Going backwards any amount of time, the game treats it kinda like you are going forwards one day - flowers and weeds will grow/spawn exactly the same way as if you had gone forwards by one day. But you won't get Isabelle's announcement and the same stuff will be in the shops as whatever was on that day. It won't effect anything in a negative way (except turnips which you don't need to worry about)

If you pay for an upgrade in your house, that gets lost if you TT back before the upgrade actually occurs. That could end up being a substantial loss of bells. So just make sure all upgrades are in place before TTing backwards. :)

That is not true. Time travelling backwards counts as the same day. I also recently time traveled backwards with a secondary character after asking for the upgrade. The house upgrade just fine.

I can only state what happened to me. I paid for an exterior upgrade for my secondary character’s house, then TTed back a few days. The exterior upgrade never appeared and I had to request it again. At the very least this shows that TTing back might cause glitches that sometimes occur and sometimes don’t. So imo, it’s best to be cautious. :)

Going backwards doesn't count as going forward like it did in NL.
When you TT back, you basically stay on the same day - there won't be any new stocks in shops, no Isabelle announcement and no nedw fossils/recipe on the beach.

TTing backwards does NOT progress upgrades, weeds, flowers, mail, or any general island progression. It does, however, count as a new active day.
