So, Chief offered me a painting that I didn't have in the museum yet. I took my chances and bought it. I brought it to Blathers, hoping it wasn't a fake.
Turns out it was a forgery, and I decided to get Chief back by giving the painting back to him, because he was asking for new furniture.
I thought to myself, "boy, it'd really be messed up if when giving the forgery, Chief gave me his pic out of appreciation for the task right now".
I handed him the art. I saw him get out the leaf from his pockets and...

I hadn't gotten his picture yet, so I was shocked.
I feel really bad.

So, how about you guys? Have you ever had a bizarre experience like this?

They usually appriciate the fact that you complete the task, doesn't matter what you give them as furniture, unless they ask you something with a specific size.

But yeah, one time I completed a petition form for Wolfgang. He was my newest villager and I had made few errands for him in comparation with older villagers and I was shocked that he gave me his pic so easily. Specially since Kyle was much older and it took a long time for him to give me his pic.

Same type of thing happened to me an hour ago - one of my villagers tonight wanted furniture. I gave her something nice but not Cyrus-ized.

She gave me her picture!!! So happy. And happy for you! That's awesome! Hope he likes his forged painting!

Awwh man. That really stinks, but it seems like luck most times. You should try to give your Chief a forged painting haha

Marshal is always giving me his picture. I mean, I have at least 10 of him now and I'm sure he's not done. He will give them to me for anything. I think the last one a few weeks back was because I gave him a vacuum cleaner when he wanted new furniture....

Recently, I tried to give Bob his pic for a furniture request just to see what would happen. Unfortunately, it was grayed out in my inventory, so I just gave him some other furniture in my pocket instead. His thank you gift was Bob's pic. lol

Rudy will never give me a picture though the only way I was able to get it was on April Fool's day.
