i think i got fake amiibo cards??

im really worried guys these cards are super thin and wont scan, does anyone have a picture of the back of the cards so i can see if that's right at least?

Can you take pictures of the cards you received? Especially from the side to get an idea of the thickness, maybe compare it with a sheet of paper or something.

because thats helpful and i didn't try that already. for all i know those are only for the old cards, not welcome amiibo cards. the back of the cards i have is different than that so i'd like to know if the back of the sanrio cards specifically is different.

also note: the sanrio cards are translucent when held up to light and the confirmed legit amiibo card isnt. i also applied a little pressure to both my old card and the sanrio one to show the difference in flexibility- the sanrio one is way too bendy

Those are the seals. They come in the Japanese packs. They're basically stickers. In Japan they pack 2 amiibo cards and 1 seal in a pack. There are 6 of them. They are authentic but not amiibo cards because I have them too.

Interesting that they would make the back of the stickers so similar to the amiibo cards. I wouldn't even bother putting the amiibo square on there, it's highly confusing.

Anyway, sorry about that, OP. I hope you can still track the cards down! It may not be in time for Christmas but I hope you get them eventually anyway. On the plus side, those stickers are mega cute and probably highly collectible.

also, it's a relief that there's no fake amiibo cards in circulation (that i know of), even if these were sold under false pretenses they're still "original" from what i can tell

They are. I look at them every day. Honestly I was more excited about getting these than the actual cards at this point because at this point I'm just bored of waiting for them lol.
