i suspect someone might move out..

so i have been really busy lately that i dont even have time to play AC and i suspect someone has already decided to move out or something. any way i can i prevent this? i dont wanna lose anyone...

You could load a new save file and see if anyone is gone or boxed.
EDIT: If someone is gone you could change your ds clock back til you find out when they boxed(by loading new save files but not saving) and then load your mayor accordingly.

What I do is just TT back to a day that I know was before I quit playing and load up then, if you were set to have someone in boxes the day after you last played though this would box them up since a jump back counts as one day forward.

you could check your 3DS device activity log to find out the last day you played ACNL, then change the 3DS date to that same day and go from there.

for future reference, if you get a villager move-out ping that you deny, you can then quit and save, and nobody will have moved out no matter how much time goes by before you start the game back up...
