I'm not going to vote in the poll, personally. I'd just like to offer some advice.
Try walking around your town for a while - wandering slowly, just looking at everything. Try and make a list of what you like, and what you dislike. There is likely something specific that makes the town not feel "right" to you.
If that specific thing is related to villagers, or other temporary aspects, then resetting is likely not worth the trouble - after all, these things can be changed. If the specific problem is related to something permanent (layout, fruit, ect) then look back at your list. Do the pros outweigh the cons? Is the loss of your house and other liked aspects worth it?
That's when you can make a decision whether or not to reset. It will be an informed, thoughtful decision, and you'll be less likely to regret your decision than if you made it hastily.
We can't tell you what to do. Making the choice yourself is much better.
I say no, if you truly love your house and if you feel like you can't do anything to change the way you feel about your town then you should reset. Iv'e only needed to reset once because even though I had lots of bells and rares in my first town, I hated my map and I want to create a cool town. So after a year of playing I reset and got my town of Abstract and I do like it a lot more than my original town but it really is up to you in the end.
I voted yes because I speak from experience I had the same feeling but I'm glad I recreated because now I have most of my Dreamies and I've managed to make my town a lot prettier and it means u get a fresh start and u can build your town back up which is fun I hope my opinion helped
If it bothers you for the long run, you should probably reset. My first time was perfect but after resetting, the one afterwards just made me so uncomfortable forever. Now, I resetted again and eventually reached the town which I think is perfect. It's different in layout but I truly love it, and everything I do just works so well. Consider resetting if the layout really bothers you.
You should probably reset. If it's just your house that you're worried about, just take pictures of the rooms and you can easily rebuild it in your next town. Ask someone to hold your items for you while you reset.
