The thing I've just noticed, She's not told anyone what her problem is and she's just saying Thank you for those 'kind' people, No one actually knows why she needs a hug :S

@josh: the reason she wanted a hug was because she felt lonely, as they said a few posts above yours.
i know that feel (wanting/needing a hug), but i'm mature/old enough to not go asking strangers on the internet for that.. or maybe more shy. whatever.
i would rather have a neutral-positive reply that at least humored me for the point in time i was depressed than a snide comment that could definitely be taken the wrong way, whether or not the existence of this topic is debatable.
i wasn't trying to play jesus or anything, i just don't want someone to feel worse about themselves when they're reaching out to people. @ (ciaran?)'s comment about it being her fault.. that is easily not always the case, especially if they're younger. i'm sure you had to go on a family trip somewhere before, possibly missing out on some event.
i don't think that the topic was on a great path from the start.. but i will agree that you guys didn't help make it much better by showing any empathy. but i'm a bleeding heart, i guess. meh.
reporting my post for a lock on this, in case it would get bumped for some reason. ridonk.
