Haha, yeah I love that feature. It wasn't in other AC games so you'd have to give him one at a time which was super annoying. Thankfully they added that to NL o:

I used to do one at a time, but after a happy mistaken tap I realised you could give more than one. I was so happy! And luckily it was near the beginning of my time in AC, hah...

that's why i always just assumed you could only do one at a time!! i feel so cheated, i always put off going to the museum to identify fossils because it took So Long, and then it ended up working out worse because i'd have to do it in bulk

It's always interested how people react to the same situation or feature in different ways. Although I figured out right away that several fossils may be assessed at once, I am sure there are other instances in the game where I took a disgustingly roundabout way or a long time to figure something out.

It took me a couple of months to know I could throw things on the ground by dragging them to the ground under my character profile on the bottom screen.

I had no idea, so you just select the multiple fossils like you would when you're selling items at Re-Tail? That's such a time saver because I find so many fossils!
