i never knew this!!

wow, i really underestimated how long dream addresses are stored in the database! about two or three years ago i reset a town that i was really proud of and i really loved it (i really regret resetting it), and for the longest time i though i?d lost that town forever. until today i went to the dream suite, searched the name of the town and there it was! i was so happy lol i saw my old favourite villagers, my old house and everything.

anyways just wanted to share that in case anyone here thinks they?ve lost a loved town forever, it?s probably still in the dream suite database!

Aww that’s sweet! My town of Tinytree got removed unfortunately I had it for a couple years with over 500 visits but then it stopped working after a while :/

That is so cool! I never knew that if you talked to Hav while he was feeding the birds, he would give you some throwing beans for the birds! I though it was so cool when I found that out!

Before the Welcome Amiibo update, I was able to visit my first town which had corrupted in July 2015. It was really nice to be able to look back on it, and recall all the fond memories I made with it.

Of course, when the update happened all the DAs were reset, so unfortunately that town is lost to history. At least it's still in my memory...

I didn't know it stayed there for so long. I might try finding my old town. I don't regret deleting it, but I really wish I had taken more screenshots of it. That's part of why I take so many pictures of my town Fireleaf. Since even if it ends up getting deleted (maybe the 3DS gets too old to function), I still have a history to look back at.

I wonder how many towns are in the Dream Suite that no longer exist. It's like looking at the ghost of a place that has been almost completely forgotten.

It was also the case for me before the Welcome Amiibo update came around to wipe out the old dream towns. When I went to check my dream town back then, it was under the name of my sister's name, not the mayor's name. So if this still holds true today, we could have multiple copies of the same town if we had more human villagers and have them update it.

All of my old dream towns are probably gone after the update, but I too experienced this and it was pretty fun to revisit one of my old towns. It takes me back to some of my old memories of who was in my town and the town name I named it. Too bad they are gone now, but it's OK.

I remember how I discovered my old towns in the Dream Suite and started to visited them often, see how much I made different in my current town compared to my old ones. It was always fun to visited them. I guess they are all gone now ever since the Welcome amiibo update came out. Kinda sad, but oh well...
