Ive been trying to figure this out for the last few days and Im kind of at an impasse so I decided to ask people who are not me would do.

Okay so behind Beau and Goldie houses I have these two rows of cedar trees

i like how these look, gives it more of a foresty feel but then on the other hand, it takes up room from my camping area, room I could be using for pwp projects like a bonfire or something

So my question is would you keep the two rows of cedars or chop one row down?

I'd keep the trees because the forest-y look fits both the homes of your villagers and the campsite above. I'd try and fit public works projects right next to the campsite, though maybe 2x1 PWPs like the log bench or hammock could probably fit in that gap as it is!

Keep the two rows and move the bonfire to the side.

I know it's not excactly what you were asking, but because the bonfire is a big PWP, and so is the campsite, alot of space is going to be required to build them vertically. I can see the cliff on the right, so maybe build somethin to the left of the campsite? I can't tell how much space excactly you have there. But the 2 rows of trees look reallly nice there.

Thank you both for answering.

There is not a lot of room on the right side of my campsite as it leads right to my campground but there is plenty of room on the left side of my campsite.

Yep, I agree with other PWPs/a campfire to the side and keeping the trees.

Okay thank you everyone. Also thank you for the suggestions. I appreciate them. Its a good thing I asked before I went chopping away. unfortunately, on the right side where that stump is nothing will fit there. I tried to see a bench will fit there and it wont so that will just have to be trees and shrubs on that side but there is plenty of room on the left side.

I can't tell for sure, but you MIGHT be able to fit a 1 space PWP, like the instrument shelter. But trees and shrubs would look nice there too.

One tile project is a good idea. Like the torch. I could put the torch over there then I can have some light as I come in from Harveys Campgroud. Good idea. Thank you. Kevin needs to suggest the torch already.

I agree with the masses on this one. I think the trees create a nice bit of separation between your villager's houses and the campsite. I think the bonfire would look nice on the left side and a torch or streetlight or some kind would be pretty on the right side.

I think the cedar trees look really nice how they are right now. Personally, if it were my town, I would keep the cedar trees but chop down the lemon and orange trees. I think they sort of compete with the houses for attention, due to being such similar heights.

I like to chop down my trees and then replant 100 or so. I really like how trees look in AC:NL towns. Also, it's easier to get Perfect Town if you replant your trees.

Remember, if you don't chop down your trees.... you can't replant them in an orderly fashion~!

good choice! I think the trees look awesome :)

I would have kept the trees too, they look pretty good at that location and also fit perfectly with the
houses and give a good atmosphere.
