Why does it take me so long to get the Emporium? I really want bamboo lol I have plans for it! lol Who else is waiting to get their Emporium built? Also I am not time traveling so that's why it's taking so long. Normally I would post in the shops forum to buy bamboo...but everytime I post there to buy something it gets over looked or no one wants to help a girl out. lol Anyways just felt like whining/ranting a bit. Since no one here in my house plays ACNL.

I used to TT before I reset my town. I felt like I got everything too quickly. Now though, I kinda miss it...but I am determined to not TT. Except when I missed bunny day, I went back to it. Then I went back to the correct day when I was done. lol

My brother has the emporium, he used to let me go for free but now he's trying to charge me LOL. he's salty because I took his crown in exchange for my bubble wand Either that, or because i've been so his emporium so many times without paying a dime he's gotten sick of it and is trying to charge me LOL. I know how it feels though, I posted a few days ago asking to go to somebody's timmy & tommy's if they have western furniture specifically. I know that's a little much to ask for but somebody out there must have it! I feel like my post was overlooked tbh.
Glad you have got the bamboo - as some posters have said villagers can give you bamboo and also persimmons - either as a return gift in a letter or for completing a task they can hand it to you.
It is somewhat rare (especially if you are waiting on either), but I have multiple towns and I've been given both in all but one (which is only a few days old). I'd say I've been given these two in approximately the first two months of the game - I talk to all the villagers several times a day & they all get a daily letter.

i used to rly want bamboo before i got the emporium (i hadn't really started trading with people at the time ;u; ) and i ad a lot of plans for it!!! then i got the emporium and was super happy, but now my town is filled w bamboo lmao. I've only ever bought one shoot lmaooo but they spread so fast and easily
