//sorry, I didn't know which thread to post this ;A;//

Ehehehe.. Hello everyone... My name is Nikki from a town called Soel and I'm having a bit of trouble with my map..
I would like to change it up. It looks a bit.. awkward. I don't want to reset my town, as I kind of have a love for my villagers and don't want to start all over..

Here's my map!

Not bad, not perfect... but it is MY map.. ^^

Well, here's where it gets worse.

What is that?! My poor path layout.

I title this one: BLECH:

Finally, here's the paths/projects I PREFER to keep. I like how they are placed, you feel me? cx

Sorry, it looks a bit rushed and my paint program uploads really oddly.

So.. do you see my problem? I obviously need help..
I was hoping someone could maybe do an outline for me, like draw something or tell me what pwps to remove or... something.. maybe I will get a better idea ^^

I could pay you a compromised price if you want, or we can negotiate to something..

Either way, thanks for the help in advance. ^^

A question: Do you have a dream address? I am too inept to do even my own paths, but I think others could help you more if they would get a look at your town and see what PWPs you actually have there (since they have different sizes and all that) and how wide your paths are and so on.

Oh, yes, I do! It's on my signature-- sorry, I thought I had the box checked so it would show my signature. Oops >_<
Thank you for your assistance!

Just thought I should inform you of the fact you can actually have your signature show on the original post by going into the editing feature. Good luck with your town, by the way!

Ehhehe.. Oops.. I forgot that one. Thanks!
Anyway.. uuuh. Bump?

Alright, this looks like my CF town. Cluttered as crap. I'll see what I can do.

I'd recommend destroying the easternmost PWP, and link the southeast area to the southern ramp. Also, you can just have one path at the west of the plaza. Don't reset, you have an amazing river. =P

I have no access to a dream suite.

Thanks for the advice on the PWPs and the judgement of my town ^^ I was thinking of getting rid of that too.
I actually did link the southeast to the ramp >_< I just forgot to put it there. Oops! Thanks for the help c:

Ehhe.. Any other suggestions? In other words, bump. ^^

I'll visit your town via dream here in a moment, I'll edit this post during my visit. :)

Well, I guess I COULD try to draw some paths (my WiFi is a bit mean today and right now doesn't want to let the dream suite work, but maybe later) - could you maybe make a map without paths, but with the PWPs you want/have to keep left in, as well as the houses of the villagers you want to get out maybe scribbled over in green so that they aren't visible anymore? I kind of find it hard to start because I constantly have to switch between the clean map and the one with the PWPs back and forth. If you can provide a map with basically what HAS to stay and nothing else (maybe you want to keep some paths, too? Or the bridges exactly in the positions they are in? You must tell us that!), that would be great and even though I have no clue about these things, I could try something after I'm done with bug catching for the night.

EDIT: Nevermind, I discovered my basic Photoshop skills, lol. Made the map myself.

Thanks ^^ I will work on your suggestions right this minute! Much appreciated!

Here we go.
- I have no idea what the PWP in the top left corner is, but if it's not super-important, I think a bridge to the campsite would be better.
- You could make some plaza around the train station with your path which could also include the police station, which would save you a path to that.
- The path to the top-left PWP is optional, really, depending on what it is, but since I removed the bridge, you might want it.
- Since I don't know how much space there is between the cafe and the town hall, I'm not sure if the horizontal path between them is possible. It's definitely not needed, but would make things prettier.
- With this layout, if you use the reset trick, you can easily place your villager's houses under the plaza, to the left and right of the cafe and above the PWP in the bottom right corner.

That's all I can think of without looking at your town directly. Hope it helps a bit. :)

Alright, I said I'd edit my post but I'll just post a new one.

Some of my notes while walking through:
- You have Skye marked as a villager who's moving, which is fine, but your paths get 3 wide behind her house which leaves more room for someone else to trample the paths.
- The little branch off of patterns right below Lucha, where there's only one purple violet - Maybe remove the section below it? If you're going to plant hybrids, then that's okay.
- Your paths actually move from 2 wide into 3 wide in some spots, which really leaves more space for villagers to move in on top of imo. Also reduces space in your town.
- The giant dinosaur tooth PWP (lol idk what it's called, below Re-Tail) - I'd remove that if I were you, it's very hard to navigate through.
- I know you don't want to remove the sign board that says "Welcome to Soel", but do you really need the one that says "Have a nice day"?
- Some paths are unnecessary, I think, such as the one leading to the lighthouse, the giant 4(?) wide path in front of Chevre.
- The white lucky cat & the yellow bench in front of the campsite, do you need those? If you want to remove those, I'd also shorten the path by the campsite.
- The flower arch - again, it's a nice PWP, but hard to navigate through.

In short; I would consider removing some of the PWP's such as the benches, sign boards, photo-ops, and some of the patterns. Walking on the grass to get to some areas, like the lighthouse, won't kill you! Grass wear really isn't that bad. For the PWP's such as the giant dentist tooth and the flower arch, I would move those off into a space where you didn't have to walk through them to get anywhere.

Your paths, mainly, I would keep to 2 wide or 3 wide (if you have to). In some areas, you go from 2 all the way up to 6 or 7 wide.

I have PWP near the campsite, but I think I'm going to remove it to put a bridge there c: I like your idea because its simplified. Thanks again!

I understand! Thinking about removing some wide paths isn't too unsettling, haha! Thank you for narrowing down bit by bit. I will take your advice on the pwps near my campsite, and I have a bit of deciding to do on the arch and the dino-thingy xD Thank you for picking my brain a bit c:
