I need some assistance (a bit mentalish)

I came back to the forums around two days ago..
Just to chat and help people, but when I started looking around..
I realized how much I want the days where I kept playing it and didn't get bored.
But I bored myself out of it and its hard to explain but..
How do some of you keep yourselves from making the game too boring?

I talk to and bond with my villagers, and I always have great plans for my town and thinking of them keep me motivated.

Always continue to develop your town. That's how I've been occupying myself with AC:NL for the past year.

But my town in my opinion is almost like my dream town..
So I will need to think a bit better next time I guess

I always try to find small goals. It can be fixing up a certain part of town, redecorating a villager's home if you plan on keeping them, collecting things (such as getting all the insects and fish for your museum), etc.

I think the game is best played in small doses and setting the goals for yourself. If you're just that bored, take a break and go back to it later. Playing the game shouldn't be a chore.
